“China launches campaign to combat online copyright infringement”

Said to be “launched by the National Copyright Administration in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security and the Cyberspace Administration of China” we are not going to hold our breath on China clamping down and helping the world fight online piracy. China going after films and IP that is solely-Chinese, oh, yes, 100% they will do that and a good job of it. But if the IP isn’t Chinese, it is amazing how the Chinese government doesn’t seem to go after protecting that IP with much vigor (or even at all). So, yay for content protection if you create Chinese IP, which the government likely has a finger on, unfortunately.
