Sora 2’s Opt-Out Isn’t New

With the launch of Sora 2 (AI Slop Social Media with added built-in deepfaking), concerns of copyright and privacy have arisen. To that OpenAI has said they will offer an “opt-out” for those not wanting to have all their IP or voice, image, and likeness stolen. The amazing thing is that this is the new norm: Gen AI companies stealing everything and forcing people to opt-out of allowing others to steal using the given AI platform. WT Serious F. Also, we can all likely agree that Sora 2 is likely the most expensive Face-Swap app alternative ever created. And will likely have the attention level of that Face-Swap app as well. One small step for AI, one giant leap for deepfaking everybody.

If a grocery store went to a farm and stole all the produce and then said that anyone could have the produce, except if the farm went to the grocery store and walked up and down the aisles continuously to find and request their produce back, that would be insane. But that’s what these AI companies are doing.

But I bury the lead. This opt-out for Sora isn’t new. We posted about it back in April. Want to know how to opt-out, check out the blog and follow the instructions: https://copyrightslap.com/2025/04/08/openais-report-content-form/

PS Gen AI Art “Opt-Out Farmers in a 3-panel comic strip format” brought to you by changing faces, backgrounds, and farms, an appearing and disappearing pitchfork, and “you get a beard!” Welcome to the AI Slop farm.
