$23.4 Million for Baby Cartoon Copyright Infringement!

Crime doesn’t pay. But apparently making cartoons and songs for babies pays a TON. When you have a channel that has 37.8 BILLION streaming minutes annually, you probably don’t need the dough, but you do need to protect your work.

Also, you have to sink pretty low to not directly steal someone’s work, but instead copy it frame by frame and then name it exactly the same. I think the argument put forth is a really good forgery should not be copyright infringement because the forger made it. But … uh, the better the forgery the less creative addition used, and the farther it is from Fair Use. We give it 23.4 million Copyright Slap NFT somethingorothers — we don’t have a system so roll with me. Anyway, don’t be stupid, come up with your own ideas.

PS feature AI image of “baby cartoon” kind of did what it was asked for. Not creative and not meta at all, a cartoon of a baby with weird other things. But partial success in the lowest hanging fruit sense of it.
