In a turn that everybody could have guessed, a court finds that the copyright suit against Meta’s AI Model can move forward after internal documents show that, contrary to what Meta claimed to be true, Mark Zuckerberg did indeed both know that the data being used in the training was copyrighted and he personally approved using it anyway.

To quote the article, “That stems from uncovered internal exchanges from Meta which appear to indicate that Zuckerberg himself approved the use of “likely pirated” material, as part of a broader push get his team to build better AI models to combat the rise of OpenAI.”

This is why Libertarianism would never work. Because contrary to the philosophy that titans of enterprise are the highest moral standard, they are in fact turn out to be the worst of the worst at every turn. Zuckerberg’s recent turn to toxic masculinity and removing fact-checking is not a pivot, it’s him revealing his true self, that we all already knew.

PS Featured Gen AI art “Zuckerberg Knew” brought to you by “strings come out of odd places” but the rest being playful on point with him being a really poor puppet master of outdated technology.
